Dear Friends/ colleagues/interested parties: Summer 2005 is here and it is up to every one of us to make it positively memorable. During this quarter, collaboration between the organizations listed above is geared toward helping the Liberian cause (Public Awareness) in particular the October 10th Liberian national elections. This year we have identified LiberianAbsenteeBallot.Org as beneficiary of our financial and moral support. LiberianAbsenteeBallot.Org is a coalition of dedicated Liberians who are working toward the full participation of all Liberians (i.e., Liberians in refugee camps, Diaspora, etc.) to exercise their basic political franchise-THE RIGHT TO VOTE! A series of activities are planned and it is our hope that you can fully participate in these events. Please find below a tentative calendar of events. Summer 2005 1.) June 11th or 25th (Saturday) Formal Launching Ceremony 2.) July 2nd (Saturday) July 4th Weekend Celebration 3.) July 23rd (Saturday) One Day Conference on Liberia 4.) August 13th (Saturday) "Right to Vote" Marathon (A sport & dance fundraiser)
